THE PROCESS

Every step matters.

The project began with extensive research on Indigenous history, culture, art and customs. It also required a thorough understanding of Canadian history and government.
The infographic was then sketched on paper and constructed in Adobe Illustrator.

FINAL OUTCOME AND REFLECTION

A REWARDING MILESTONE.

Looking back, I’m very pleased with this project, as it allowed me to grow both illustratively and in design by introducing new challenges. Although my submission wasn’t selected as a winner, its quality was acknowledged by the union, which was incredibly rewarding for me—especially since it marked the first design I created outside of my educational work.
